Pastor & Honorary Bishop
Staff 1
Pastor Reece
Pastor Reece is passionate about prayer, worship, discipleship and evangelism. He enjoys a contagious sense of humor, and strives to preach and teach the WORD of GOD to stir the soul, challenge the heart and inspire the mind of every spiritually hungry person attending GLC.

Together with his wife of 31 years, Sister Reece, they are prayerfully living to fulfill our core purpose and mission.

The Reece's were both raised in pastors' homes. For 31 years they have served in various ministry capacities...youth ministry, music ministry, evangelism, and pastoral leadership; including traveling fulltime across North America ministering in local churches.

They have some awesome hard working and talented children; Preston and his wife Kiersten, Cameron and his wife Destinee and Ashlyn. The Reece's are thankful that their children have completed their Bachelor and/or Master's Degree with high honors; respectfully in Criminal Justice, Civil Engineering and Accounting and they are all working fulltime in their fields. All of them are also passionately and faithfully serving within our church ministries. EMAIL

Honorary Bishop Burgess
Honorary Bishop Burgess has faithfully served in many capacities of ministry for over 55 years. He is known as a steadfast man of prayer and fasting. Together with the love of his life, Sister Burgess, they traveled fulltime across much of North America ministering through anointed sermons and worshiping in music.

In 1980, they felt a strong call of the Lord to this city and moved their young family to Shelton, WA. They began to successfully establish a new mission’s work. Bishop Burgess was employed as a skilled tradesman welder in the first decade and a half while also pastoring full-time.

From those early years of sacrifice, and after faithfully pastoring for over 33 years, they retired in 2013 and transitioned to the honorary role of Bishop. In October, 2017 - after a long battle with Parkinson's Lewy Body Disease - Sister Burgess passed from this life to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. We will always love and cherish her legacy and memory. And we are thankful that we still have him with us. They were wonderful examples of committed followers of Jesus Christ.
